The New Content Management System

February 22, 2008

With so many different Content Management Systems available for web development these days, we wondered what a newcomer to the market could bring that was not already out there?
Having reviewed and studied many of these products it was clear to us what the answer should be:

  • a logical way to organize content so that the appropriate ones are easy to find
  • an easy way to explore a sites content
  • loaded with options and variations
  • a selection of widgets and customizable
  • a news section
  • a blog
  • an easy way to install scripts or code if needed
  • images - a browser to select

And so much more!!!

Well Garlic D’zign appears to have been able to do just that, a content management solution designed with just these sample ideas in mind. With the brilliant mind of our top programmer and the help of the owner we have put together a system that we feel will stand out against all the rest. Stay tuned to learn more about it?

Keeping It Simple

February 19, 2008

So after weeks of intense work and catch up I finally have gotten around to finishing up the new site for Garlic D’zign. The new theme is in place and its so easy to work with. One thing you will notice here in the blog is that I am not using any categories! It gets just to overwhelming trying to keep up with so many things I just wanted it as simple as possible. So no categories!!!! If you want to look back on any of the previous articles, you will have to find them in the archives. Roll your mouse over the “blog” link on the top menu and the “archives” button will drop down.

Everything on this site is reachable by the top menu. No gimmicks, not a lot of unnecessary links, banners, or long lists of stuff. I have to keep it this way to help me keep it under control but yet provide you with the best content and direction I can.

The support section will be an ongoing process. So you just have to keep coming back for more.

I have also tried to make my services available as simple as possible. No brainer.

Hope you enjoy the new look and Subscribe to Garlic D'zign’s Newsletter for new content posted here on the site. It might be just what you needed!
